2020 PRIDE INSIDE CHALLENGE

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will no longer be holding a live event on June 27, 2020. Our committee is still looking into the possibility of a live Pride parade & festival later in 2020, and will continue to update you as we find out more. 

Even though we cannot gather together in person this June, we can still honor and celebrate our community from the comfort of our own homes! After all, Pride starts Inside.

We invite you to join us for three weeks of activities, experiences, and challenges focused on increasing knowledge and visibility!

WEEK 1: DISCOVER

JUNE 8 - 12

What does it mean to be queer? The LGBTQIA+ community is a unified group comprised of a rainbow of individual identities and experiences. This week, we encourage you to expand your knowledge by discovering more about this spectrum of orientations, identities, and expressions, and to share these ideas with our community.

WEEK 2: EXPLORE

JUNE 15-19

Do you know your “queerstory?” Explore the meaning behind queer symbols, discover the heroes that paved the way for our present day community, and experience the organizations and groups bringing visibility and power to LGBTQIA+ people.

What do you do to celebrate being YOU? This week we honor and celebrate our community and everything each member does to stay safe, proud AND visible!
